Duravant is formally rebranding Matthews Automation Solutions as Pyramid, positioning the business as a larger part of its warehouse and logistics automation strategy as demand grows for scalable software and controls across fulfilment operations.

The rebrand

The new identity was introduced publicly at MODEX 2026 in Atlanta, where Pyramid showcased its warehouse execution, controls and fulfilment technologies as part of Duravant’s broader industrial automation portfolio.

Pyramid provides Warehouse Execution System (WES) and Warehouse Control System (WCS) software, controls and integration services, alongside products including Pyramid Director, NEXUS, Compass CORS and Lightning Pick pick-to-light technologies. The company’s systems are designed to support material flow and order fulfilment across omnichannel, ecommerce and advanced warehouse environments.

Delivering warehouse solutions

“We are excited to announce the rebrand of our company to Pyramid,” said Gary Cash, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Pyramid. “Our trusted product brands have been delivering warehouse solutions for over 30 years, and now, under the Pyramid name, we add a powerful software and controls layer to Duravant’s industrial automation portfolio—bringing even more comprehensive capabilities alongside the conveyor, parcel, packaging and fulfilment technologies customers rely on to keep operations moving.”

The new name for Matthews Automation Solutions

The rebrand follows Duravant’s acquisition of Matthews Automation Solutions, completed on December 31, 2025, and reflects the company’s effort to integrate warehouse software and controls more closely into its wider automation offering.

Pyramid will continue implementing systems through its existing model, leveraging expertise in controls, warehouse execution software and light-directed fulfilment systems, while working with partners, integrators and other Duravant operating companies.

Warehouse operators are increasingly looking for integrated automation platforms that combine software orchestration, robotics and picking technologies to improve throughput and flexibility, particularly as ecommerce and omnichannel fulfilment continue to drive operational complexity.

The benefits of unified organization

Within that strategy, Pyramid plans to extend the reach of its pick-to-light technologies into a wider range of warehouse applications.

“Within the unified organization, we are excited to extend the reach of our signature pick-to-light software and systems to more applications by drawing on Duravant’s broader industrial and material handling automation expertise—helping more organizations boost speed, accuracy, and scale,” said Mike McManus, General Manager of Pyramid’s Lightning Pick operations.
