AI investment strengthens supply chain operations and service delivery
Evri Group is becoming one of the first organisations in the UK to adopt Microsoft 365 E7, expanding its use of AI-powered technology to improve operational efficiency, decision-making and collaboration across its parcel delivery network.
The company will deploy 6,000 Microsoft 365 E7 licences over the coming months, giving employees access to tools including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Agent 365 and the Microsoft Entra Suite. The rollout builds on Evri’s wider AI strategy, which has seen the business invest more than £3.5 million in AI to date.
Key AI milestone for Evri
“Our investment in Microsoft 365 Copilot E7 marks an exciting milestone in Evri’s AI journey,” said Marcus Hunter, Chief Technology Officer, Evri Group.
“We’ve been building our capabilities in this space for a number of years, and this allows us to take the next step – putting powerful, secure AI tools directly into the hands of our people. This is about empowering all our people through technology. By removing manual tasks and unlocking insights from across our organisation, we can help our teams work smarter, deliver better service, and continue to scale as our business grows.”
Technology rollout supports growing logistics network
Evri delivers more than one billion parcels each year, and the company said AI has become increasingly important as both parcel volumes and employee numbers continue to grow.
The new technology is designed to help employees access knowledge from across the organisation, reduce manual processes and improve day-to-day decision-making while preventing information from becoming siloed across teams.
The rollout will also support greater collaboration across the business while ensuring people remain central to operational decision-making.

Digital tools automate routine workflows
As part of the deployment, employees will be able to build AI agents that act as digital teammates, helping automate routine tasks and coordinate end-to-end workflows.
The platform will also enable teams to access operational insights more quickly, strengthen collaboration and use data generated by VeriSnap to improve delivery quality and operational efficiency.
According to Evri, the investment will ultimately support higher service quality, delivery accuracy and reliability for customers as the business continues to expand.
Secure AI platform built for enterprise scale
Evri said its adoption of Microsoft 365 E7 builds on several years of investment in AI and advanced technology, supported by an underlying architecture designed to scale new innovations securely.
The company initially invested £1 million in AI and has since increased its total investment to more than £3.5 million.
The Microsoft platform will operate within a secure, closed environment, providing enterprise-grade security alongside AI-powered productivity tools.
AI designed to support people, not replace them
Evri said its AI strategy is focused on empowering employees rather than replacing them. Alongside automating repetitive administrative work, Microsoft 365 Copilot will provide AI-powered writing and grammar support to help colleagues communicate more effectively and support diversity and inclusion across the organisation.
“Microsoft is a trusted partner for Evri, and together we’re ensuring that everything we do with AI is secure, responsible and delivers real value for both our colleagues and our customers,” adds Marcus Hunter.

Supporting the future of logistics technology
The rollout of Microsoft 365 E7 forms part of Evri’s broader digital transformation strategy as it continues to scale its parcel delivery operations.
Following its merger with DHL eCommerce UK in 2025, Evri Group now delivers more than one billion parcels and a further one billion business letters annually, supported by more than 12,000 employees, over 30,000 self-employed couriers and a network of more than 12,500 ParcelShops and Lockers.
