Coupa has signed a five-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services to advance AI-driven spend transformation across procurement, finance, and supply chain operations.

ACCELERATING AUTONOMOUS SPEND TRANSFORMATION

Coupa, a leading artificial intelligence (AI) platform for total spend management, has signed a five-year strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the adoption of autonomous spend solutions across global enterprises.

The collaboration brings together Coupa’s proprietary business intelligence network with AWS AI capabilities to enable autonomous management of both direct and indirect spend across the full lifecycle, from sourcing and procurement to payment and supply chain execution.

As organizations face increasing pressure to build resilience and optimize spending, the partnership enables customers to deploy Coupa Navi™ agents – built on Amazon Bedrock using AWS AI and machine learning (ML) services – to automate procurement workflows and enhance visibility across multi-tier supply chains.

THE POWER OF A JOINT FORCE

The partnership will no doubt have a far-reaching impact across the world, not only streamlining supply chain and procurement activities but also setting a benchmark in spend transformation.

“Our strategic collaboration with AWS aligns our efforts to help customers accelerate their path toward autonomous spend management,” comments Greg Harbor, Chief Partner Officer for Coupa.

“With Coupa’s leading AI-driven platform and USD$9.5 trillion in proprietary data on AWS, we are driving faster transformation and measurable business outcomes for global enterprises,” he adds.

“Coupa has helped to significantly improve our spend management. We now have much greater visibility, streamlined operations, and have optimized our financial close process – bringing transparency to our external spend,” says Mark Arrigotti, Senior Director of Finance at Uber.

“Supply chain resilience and procurement efficiency are top priorities for enterprises worldwide,” highlights Allison Johnson, Director of Americas Technology Partnerships for AWS.

“Working with Coupa on AWS, our customers can now harness the power of Coupa’s autonomous AI agents built on Amazon Bedrock to accelerate transformation and deliver measurable outcomes across their procurement and supply chain operations.”

DELIVERING MEASURABLE OUTCOMES

Coupa has developed a global business trade network supporting USD$9.5 trillion in transactions across more than 10 million buyers and suppliers. This network effect has contributed to over USD$300 billion in realised spend savings to date.

As an AWS ISV Accelerate (ISVA) partner, Coupa provides customers with access to dedicated AWS sales support, streamlined procurement through AWS Marketplace, and faster time to value.
